When starting a weight loss program, it is prudent to set realistic and attainable weight goals. After our initial consultation, together we will establish appropriate weight and health goals that will ensure the greatest success.

The recommended weekly weight loss to aim for is .5-2 lbs. Losing weight too quickly will cause you to lose muscle instead of fat. As a result, your metabolism will slow down and weight loss will come to a screeching halt. Consistent weight loss whether that be .5 or 2 lbs per week is the overall goal.

Absolutely not! If you follow your eating meal plan you will not be hungry. The meals are designed to keep you satisfied and feeling energetic throughout the entire day. If you have been hungry on previous diets, then you were on the wrong plan. Many of my clients are pleasantly surprised that they can lose weight and feel satisfied.

After, the initial consultation we will meet weekly for our follow-up education counseling meetings. There is much to learn and regular meetings ensure the greatest support for your success.

There are different packages available for clients to purchase based on their personal goals, including the level of support and education needed. Feel free to inquire about pricing and what package may be best for you.

You do not need to buy an app or special foods. I do recommend to purchase a food scale, measuring cups and spoons to ensure you are eating the proper amounts of food prescribed in your plan.

Absolutely! As Registered Dietitian I am clinically trained to address the nutritional management of a number of medical conditions. This is commonly referred to as Medical Nutrition Therapy.

Consuming the proper amount of food will result in the greatest weight loss. Although, exercise plays a smaller role in weight loss than in weight maintenance, we do recommended incorporating exercise into your overall plan. We will see what your current activity level is and build from that point if necessary.

Absolutely not !! All foods can be included into your eating plan. This is exactly where the personalized part of working with me is the advantage to other programs. Together we will work to include all your favorites whether that is alcohol, sweets or pizza.
There are no “good” or “bad’ foods .

My services are out of network. Every insurance company is different and I do have clients that have nutrition services covered under their plan. Services are covered by HSA and flex spending accounts. but you can apply the fees to your deductible.
